If you are new to busking, or busking in Vegas, please have some common decency by not hogging a pitch or being a bully. Don’t get upset when someone is in “your” spot the next day. 1st come 1st serve. Move on. Don’t expect performers to give up a spot because you show up. However, you can ask a performer how long he/she is going to be there.
It gets really hot in the Summer.
Between May-October, temperatures are easily in the triple digits 10am-8pm. Bring a lot of water (ABC store has $1 liters). Stay hydrated. Drink a lot of water and Gatorade.
It gets cold during the Winter.
Between mid November-mid March, temperatures at night can be in the low 30’s. The foot traffic also slows down as well. It makes for a pretty miserable experience.
The police ramp up their enforcement between May and September
Be aware that your chances of getting stopped, ID’d, ticketed, and arrested increase during these months.
