And the award goes to… BuskLV

by BuskLV | August 27, 2023

On Thursday, August 24, 2023 Brandon Summers, founder and sole proprietor of BuskLV, received an award for “Activism Through Service” from the ACLU of Nevada during their Celebration of Civil Rights awards dinner. The ACLU recognized the dedication that Brandon had in keeping the pedestrian bridges on the Las Vegas Strip open for street performers and free speech; and the work he put in to mobilize community members against a dangerous county ordinance.

In April 2022, Brandon Summers received a settlement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) for a wrongful arrest that occurred in 2018.
