Alex Rivers had to audition twice on Season 17 of America’s Got Talent to make the cut. Judge Simon Cowell was intrigued by Alex’s first performance but wanted to hear him perform over a better backing track. Alex made the adjustment and came back the next day swinging for the fences. His rendition of Dua Lipa’s uptempo dance track “New Rules” ignited the auditorium. Equipped with a glowing violin, Alex’s musicianship, dance moves, and stage presence brought the audience to its feet. All three judges gave Alex a yes and he will move on to the next round of AGT. Not bad for a Vegas street performer!
