According to a social media post by Alex Rivers, his audition for NBC’s America’s Got Talent (S17) will air on Tuesday, July 12 at 5:00pm PST. Alex is a Las Vegas-based violinist/street performer who plays electric violin on The Strip.
Alex Rivers’s busking journey began in Las Vegas in 2015. His recent documentary entitled ‘A Day In the Life of A Las Vegas Street Performer’ gives viewers a glimpse into his world. In recent years, he has resorted to wearing a heavy amplifier on his back to due to police enforcement and crackdowns. As ubiquitous as the Roland street cube is, let’s hope he’s not wearing it on TV 🙂 Good luck Alex!
